Our client, a top 5 Irish law firm, seeks to recruit an ambitious finance lawyer in the 1-5 PQE range to its market leading aviation finance team in Dublin. This is a unique opportunity for an aviation finance solicitor or asset finance lawyer to work on some of the most sophisticated transactions in the global market, alongside a leading team in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The team will also consider general finance lawyers looking to pivot to aviation finance . Responsibilities Advise on complex aviation finance and asset finance transactions, including securitisations, aircraft portfolio sales, JVs, and platform establishments. Act for a top-tier client base including airlines, lessors, banks, funds, manufacturers, and ECAs on both domestic and cross-border matters. Draft and negotiate finance, leasing and security documentation, and manage transactions from start to finish. Contribute to high-profile restructurings, M&A, and innovative financing structures involving commercial and private aviation assets. Candidate Profile 1–5 years’ PQE as an aviation finance solicitor or asset finance lawyer, with experience gained with a leading law firm or in-house within the aviation sector. Applications are also welcome from candidates coming from a general finance background in a large Dublin/London law firm with an interest in aviation law. Strong transactional finance experience, ideally with exposure to aviation finance or broader structured asset finance deals. Excellent drafting skills, commercial acumen and an ability to manage complex transactions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a proactive and collaborative mindset.
