The Research Assistant will work within an interdisciplinary team to organise qualitative interviews and focus groups with participants across Ireland. The PharmaCareers project will explore the enablers and barriers to sustainable long-term careers for women in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Focusing on a life course approach the research aims to build an understanding of career decision making, interactions with STEM programmes, social network mapping of skills & training programmes, and engagement with programmes for inclusivity and career support. Findings will primarily be analysed through qualitative methods in the disciplines of organisation studies, feminist and gender studies, sociomaterial studies, labour market and political economy. The Research Assistant should be able to demonstrate knowledge of qualitative research methods, project management and organising data storage for retrieval and analysis.
