Our current workload in building and site development projects includes the Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Housing and Education Sectors for both public and private clients.The candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of team.**Duties will include:*** Acting as a Structural Engineer as part of Multidiscipline Design Teams.* Design input and contribution to the delivery of all Structural aspects of projects.* Preparation of clear and concise project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage) with an ability to communicate complex technical matters with crystal clear clarity.* Communication of design intent via PowerPoint presentations.* Communication with internal and external parties via email.* Oversight of preparation of design drawings.* Preparation of design calculations for internal and external review.* Undertaking duties of the Ancillary Certifier for the C&S discipline.**Desirable skills/attributes:*** Member of Engineers Ireland and actively working towards Chartership.* Good communication skills and have the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.* Experience in delivery of Structural Engineering Design to Eurocodes.* Proficient in MS Office Suite.* Experience in use of structural design software (Robot and Tekla Structural Designer would be advantageous).* Experience acting as Project C&S engineer on multi-disciplined projects (in person meeting attendance with clients and other design team members).At AtkinsRéalis we put Environment, Sustainability and Health & Safety at the heart of our business strategy.
