Title: Compliance and Safety Manager
Reporting to: Managing Director
Role Location: Dublin Airport (With Travel Duty Required)
Role: Responsible for Health and Safety function within Sky Handling Partner Group Operations
Main Tasks
Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety Policies, and Management Systems
Ensure compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and associated/updated regulations
Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits and analyse trends for focus point actions
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and work with Management to implement corrective actions
Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports and statutory records
Deliver health and safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks along with Health and Safety Team members and representatives
Liaise with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and other regulatory bodies
Advise management and staff on health and safety matters and best practices
Drive continuous improvement in health and safety performance
Monitor day-to-day operations across shift patterns to ensure regular safety department presence, reinforcing robust safety practice and protocols live on operations
Deliver improvement of safety records along with overall compliance and performance standards
Ensure the implementation and monitoring of safety policy, processes, procedures and guidelines
Conduct daily audits on iAuditor live on the operation, particularly on airside operations
Deliver feedback directly to key safety stakeholders on the operation, at appropriate times, to ensure timely, constructive and positive safety engagement
Issue compliance cautions as required to ensure safe systems of work are taken seriously and maintained
Training of management and staff on Safety Policy, Protocol and Regulations
Liaise with insurance companies, insurance risk assessors, engineers, legal representatives
Participate in various internal and 3rd party Health and Safety committees and record the meetings with relevant action points to address in a timely manner
Perform key Compliance, Quality and Safety Functions in respect of Company Systems, Service Delivery and Development projects
Maintain ISAGO and ISO accreditations for UK and Ireland companies
Perform internal and subcontractor audits and management supply chain approval process
Oversee and audit compliance within operations in accordance with Airline Service Level Agreements
Maintaining Quality System activities to ensure that operations are fully in compliance with current international standards, to include method and process validation
Quality Metrics reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Assist with development of Quality Manual and Quality Management Systems
Manage the Emergency Response Programme and Exercises
Requirements
Applicants must have the following requirements
Health and Safety, Level 7/8 qualifications or equivalent required
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Systems, ISO 45001 Safety Management System is desirable
Internal Auditing qualification is desirable
Manual Handling Instructor qualification is desirable
Excellent Organisational Skills, Attention to detail essential
Computer literacy essential - Full Microsoft Office Capability

Excellent interpersonal, communication, administration and reporting skillsFlexible approach - Ability to work across shift operating patterns in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
