Your tasks and responsibilities Setting up and testing systems and sub-assemblies, as allocated by the Supervisor, against test specifications until satisfied they meet all the criteria of the specifications. Performing inspection operations on sub-assemblies, modules and systems using engineering drawings, schematics, flow diagrams, specifications and methodologies. Preparing samples, reagents and diluents for chemical testing of systems and modules. Using theoretical knowledge and practical experience, establishing causes of malfunction and non-conformance in the electrical, hydraulic and chemical operation of systems and modules with a minimum loss of test time. Checking each system against each branch order to ensure the customer gets the correct systems, i.e. correct type and sequence and also the correct peripherals if required. Assisting Engineering in the initial installation and verification of new test procedures, equipment and products. Assisting Engineering in the design of test fixtures and modules inspection/test procedures, also preliminary system test/inspection procedures. Completing and maintaining all necessary paperwork, test data etc for each system/module to ensure that accurate Q.C. records are available. Overseeing and checking any repair work that has to be carried out to ensure that the fault is corrected and that it conforms to Siemens specifications. Working with Q.C procedures, relating to material flow, material handling, processing of defective material, acceptance and rejection procedures, ECN monitoring, concessions etc. Awareness of the risks involved i.e. in handling dangerous corrosive or infectious materials and ensuring that all safety rules and procedures are observed. Training in new personnel or existing Technicians on unfamiliar systems or modules. Responsibilities Support the processing of material dispositioned as potentially defective from Incoming inspection and production lines. Process and maintain Quality Notifications to record the material and to assist with engineering and other departments in the successful disposition of material. Work with Finance to reconcile invoice and finance discrepancies arising. Support the processing of material dispositioned for Return to Suppliers from the non-conforming material review process. Create Return Material Authorizations (RMA) for rejected parts to be returned to suppliers dispositioned at MRB. Ensure necessary clearances and approvals are in place to allow the routing of material back to suppliers. Ensure suppliers approve RMAs for parts returns. Assist in the development of required links with suppliers to support the material returns process. Support the processing of material dispositioned as Scrap. Run the weekly Scrap QN part list report from SAP, complete Scrap Forms and upload into the SharePoint inventory adjustment application (when required). Support the gathering and registration of material compliance relating to sustainability including EU RoHS compliance and the running of compliance reports in SAP. Qualifications Ideally with 2 years + relevant experience working with a Medical Device Manufacturing environment or similar. Minimum of a certificate level qualification (QQI level 6) in an appropriate discipline (Quality Engineering, Business, Administration) OR appropriate and commensurate experience. Experience in being part of a team and working on projects with good communications skills, written & verbal. Strong working knowledge / experience of general Quality administration activities including SAP with a background working in a regulated environment with tight deadlines. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries related to manufacturing accounting to support accurate & timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and corporate financial policies. Ensuring timely closing of SAP and subsequent reporting submissions to the head office. Cost centre controlling & budget co-ordination responsibility.
