The Role Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Deliver engaging presentations and test drives, highlighting the benefits of the Škoda range Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets Pursue and achieve incremental sales and profit opportunities through the sale of finance, warranty, service plans and accessories Ensure every customer enjoys a premium buying experience from first contact to handover Maintain a professional approach consistent with the Škoda brand values We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following Skills and Competencies: Minimum 2–3 years’ main dealer sales experience within the Irish Motor Industry Škoda brand experience would be a distinct advantage Target- and profit‑driven, with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to prospect and qualify customers effectively Strong closing skills and ability to maximise profit opportunities Excellent time management and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Kerridge is an advantage Active social media presence to engage with customers and promote the brand Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative functions Professional in attitude, behaviour, and personal appearance Salary Package The competitive salary package for this role will include a base salary along with attractive commission and bonus structures. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate recent main dealer experience and formal skills training with a recognised automotive organisation is essential. As an experienced Technician you will be skilled in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing including diagnostics and electronics. You will be a committed individual with a positive, 'can do' attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team. You will have good communication skills to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, making sure you liaise with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.     About the Role Sheehy Motor Group are seeking an Experienced Parts Advisor to join our dynamic Aftersales team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, supporting workshop operations, and maintaining efficient parts supply for both retail and trade customers. This is a full-time position based in our Carlow dealership. Key Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service to both retail and workshop customers Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and accessories for their vehicle Manage incoming parts enquiries via phone, email, and in person Process parts orders, invoices, and returns accurately and efficiently Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts, accessories, and promotions Ensure stock levels are well managed, monitored, and replenished Support the workshop team by supplying the correct parts in a timely manner Handle warranty parts returns in line with manufacturer guidelines Maintain a clean, organised, and safe parts department Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Parts Advisor in the motor industry (franchise dealership experience preferred) Strong knowledge of vehicle parts, systems, and terminology Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a busy team Proficiency in dealer management / parts ordering systems (e.g., Kerridge, ETKA, Autoline, or similar) Good organisational skills with attention to detail What We Offer Competitive salary package, based on experience.
