Responsibilities Ensure that our guests have an enjoyable guest experience when they visit us at The Old Lodge Gastropub. Ensure that Service Standards are implemented on a day to day basis. Be fully aware of what is happening in the operation in terms of bookings, events and special promotions. Motivate, organise and delegate duties to the team each evening. Greet, welcome and seat guests Maintain a visible presence in the room Deal with complaints in a professional and prompt manner. Qualifications 2+ years experience in a food and beverage establishment is required. Team Lead/Supervisory experience desirable. A positive attitude with a passion for the hospitality industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Team player with the ability to multi task and a fine eye for detail. An authentic people person who can deliver exceptional customer service with confidence and professionalism. Ability to take the initiative and demonstrate working independently while handling multiple responsibilities and following up on queries and inquiries as part of a daily routine. Level headed with strong problem-solving skills and a natural ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to problems. Fluent English. Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
