  • Crisis Management Specialist

    Overview Hours: 40hrs per week. Location: Dublin, Ireland. Pay: €75,000 - €85,000 (DOE) plus benefits. We are seeking a Crisis Management Specialist (CMS) to oversee the governance and global implementation of our Crisis Management Team (CMT) program for one of our global clients. This pivotal role ensures our client’s business is prepared for, responsive to, and resilient in the face of crises. You’ll work closely with threat analysts, emergency response teams, and global stakeholders to deliver rapid, coordinated incident response and post-crisis recovery. Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement Maintain regular communication with threat intelligence teams to stay informed on emerging risks. Leverage intelligence reports to proactively prepare for and manage crisis events. Liaise with emergency response teams to ensure alignment of crisis protocols and operational security processes. Collaborate with external service providers to optimize performance and support crisis readiness. Responding to Alerts Monitor and assess real-time alerts from threat analysts. Initiate appropriate actions based on the nature and severity of incidents. Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies, ensuring timely escalation and coordination. Incident Management Team (IMT) Activation Initiate the IMT when a crisis is identified. Ensure rapid notification and assembly of key stakeholders. Maintain readiness protocols to enable swift IMT activation at any time. Facilitating IMT Operations Lead and manage IMT operations during crisis events. Ensure effective communication, decision-making, and resource deployment. Provide logistical support to maintain efficiency throughout the response process. Document Management Maintain accurate records of crisis incidents, including timelines, decisions, and actions taken. Support the After-Action Review (AAR) process by gathering stakeholder feedback and compiling reports. Contribute to internal communications related to travel advisories, incident updates, and security notices. Training & Industry Engagement Coordinate and support internal and external training sessions for crisis management teams. Facilitate regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including emergency response and intelligence teams. Participate in training and engagement activities offered by industry partners and professional networks. Attend external events to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in crisis management. Collaborate with industry peers to share insights and continuously improve crisis response strategies. Qualifications Experience in crisis management, emergency response, or related fields, or a degree (BA, MA, BSc) in a related field. Robust communication and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in real-time. Familiarity with risk assessment and threat analysis. Proficient in document management systems and reporting tools. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation. Successful passing of background and reference checks, job-related in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements. Must be available for occasional limited notice travel (approx. 5-15%). Must be able to work long hours without advance notice or significant breaks as needed. On-call availability during off-hours, as crises can arise unexpectedly. What you’ll do As the Lead Regional EHS Manager, you will lead the strategic development and execution of a regional EHS program that supports datacenter physical security operations. You will lead and oversee a small team of skilled EHS professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure consistent implementation of EHS programs across the EMEA region, as part of a larger global EHS organization. What you need to apply We’re looking for a seasoned professional with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, or the equivalent experience, along with relevant professional safety certifications. You will have 5-7 years of progressive experience leading EHS programs, with a strong background in multi-country safety program development and compliance. If you have experience in a datacenter environment and working with contract security vendors, that will make you an exceptional candidate! You should have strong leadership of regionally distributed teams and strategic program management.
