The Role Reporting to: Warehouse Manager, SEABRIDGE is seeking a proactive, hands-on and experienced Warehouse Operativeto support day-to-day warehouse operations. Job Responsibilities Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork. Storing and rotating stock according to SOP. Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors. Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods. Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment. Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves. Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule. Receiving, storing, and organizing stocks. Picking, packing, and labelling products for shipment. Operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet Trucks and hand trucks to move goods around the warehouse. Reporting any broken, damaged, or malfunctioning warehouse equipment to management. Taking inventory of all warehouse stocks. Ensuring that fragile freight is suitably packed to prevent damage during transit. Processing inbound and outbound shipments (e.g. sorting, loading and unloading goods). Preparing and verifying shipping documents. Ensuring products are stored in the correct location and in a good condition. Requirements Minimum of 2 years proven warehouse operative experience. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
