Job Overview We are in search of a motivated Digital Marketing Specialist proficient in German, who will play an integral role in our marketing team. This position involves creating innovative digital marketing strategies, optimising our online visibility, and enhancing our brand presence in German-speaking markets. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, SEO best practices, and be fluent in both English and German.
Key Responsibilities Support pre-launch preparations by coordinating asset requirements, creating insertion orders (IOs), and securing Deal Desk approvals.
Work closely with teams to collect assets, configure campaigns, and prepare launch reports or screenshot decks as client-ready proofs of concept.
Regularly track and evaluate campaign performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Provide ongoing performance updates to Client Account Managers and clients.
Make proactive recommendations to achieve performance goals.
Execute hands-on campaign optimizations weekly and daily.
Extract and interpret data to create insights that drive client success.
Prepare polished wrap-up reports and quarterly business reviews for advertisers.
Offer client support and expertise through various communication channels.
Lead weekly or bi-weekly client calls, document action items, and ensure follow-up.
Assist advertisers with troubleshooting, including pixel placement, ads platform training, and technical issues.
Represent the needs of Client Account Managers and advertisers within management and across teams.
Identify and suggest process improvements and support ongoing career development.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Native or fluent proficiency in both German and English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
Direct sales or account management experience is beneficial but not essential.
Solid experience in digital and social media marketing.
Proficiency in campaign optimization and a strong grasp of key advertising metrics, including CPM, SOV, CPA, Conversion Lift, Brand Lift, Reach, and Frequency.
Advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets, with the ability to provide actionable insights.
Strong skills in report and dashboard creation using multiple data sources.
Understanding of digital measurement solutions.
Strong relationship-building skills with Sales partners.
Excellent attention to detail and a QA-oriented mindset.
Experience in quality assurance or business analysis is an advantage.
