We work with clients operating in a wide variety of sectors including technology, internet and media, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, retail and consumer, and manufacturing. The successful candidate should have a proven track record in managing client relationships, delivering solutions to clients and building teams. Responsibilities: Supporting buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from a tax perspective, including structuring, due diligence, and execution support. Preparing and reviewing tax due diligence reports (corporate tax, withholding taxes, VAT/indirect taxes in coordination with specialists), identifying key exposures and value drivers. Advising on transaction structuring (share vs asset deals), financing, repatriation, and post-acquisition integration considerations (including purchase price mechanisms and tax attributes). Providing tax input on transaction documentation by reviewing tax clauses (e.g., SPA tax covenant, tax indemnities, W&I considerations) and advising deal teams on key tax implications; supporting completion and post-completion matters. About the ideal candidate The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: ITI and ACA / ACCA qualified. At least 2 to 3 years' experience in a management role in transaction tax / M&A tax, with a track record delivering tax input on live deals. Experience preparing/reviewing tax due diligence reports, identifying key risks, and communicating clear, commercial recommendations to stakeholders. Strong technical grounding in Irish corporate tax with the ability to apply it in deal contexts (structuring, financing, tax attributes, exit planning, and integration). Experience providing tax input on transaction documentation (e.g., reviewing SPA tax clauses, supporting disclosure processes, and advising on tax deed/covenant implications) and managing completion/post-completion queries.
