Who We Are Looking For 3 to 7 years’ experience in cost and commercial management, general project management and project controls across projects of varying size and complexity. Previous experience of administering Public Works Contracts (PWC) in Ireland or NEC contracts in UK / Ireland. Previous experience of working for an engineering services consultancy similar in profile to RPS. Previous experience as a Project Controls Engineer across a programme of works or portfolio of projects will be advantageous. What You Will Be Doing The key duties and responsibilities of the Resident Engineer - Electrical include: The Resident Engineer shall be responsible for monitoring, witness testing, checking compliance with the scope and that all works are carried out in accordance with the works contract. Good site experience including construction support, surveys, meetings and generating snag lists. IT Proficiency using standard office software, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic understanding of specific building services design tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, HEVACOMP and similar. Have a good working knowledge & experience of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
