    To work within a team to supervise and grow an effective and efficient home care service within a defined geographic region. Key Responsibilities Carry out Client Need Assessments, when required, prior to commencement of service. Attend carer's first call to introduce care workers to client. Liaise closely with the co-ordinator to ensure correct client/care worker matching for new clients. Deliver care to clients who otherwise may not receive a visit. To complete clients reviews. To complete carer spot checks. To ensure all changes to shifts are reported to the co-ordinator. To support the office in implementing any training. Arrange cover for care workers annual leave. Adhering to confidentiality policy at all times. Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the agency's quality assurance programme. Ensure that you follow Right at Home policies and procedures on a continuous basis to ensure full compliance. We are currently recruiting full‑time and part‑time Health Care Assistants to support our clients across the community. Key Duties and Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality personal care in accordance with each client’s individual Home Support Care Plan. Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Support clients with eating and drinking, monitoring nutritional intake and reporting any concerns. Provide medication prompting or assistance strictly in line with company policy and scope of practice. Deliver continence care respectfully while always maintaining client dignity and privacy. Observe, document, and report any changes in a client’s physical, emotional, or behavioural condition to the Care Manager. Support clients’ emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing. Encourage independence and community engagement where appropriate. Maintain accurate care records in line with regulatory and organisational standards. Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control procedures. Comply with all health and safety legislation and safeguarding policies. Respect and maintain client confidentiality and comply with Data Protection (GDPR) requirements. Mandatory Qualifications and Eligibility QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support (or equivalent recognised international healthcare qualification) or Minimum of 2 QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills (5N2770) Care of the Elderly (5N2706).
