JOB DESCRIPTION The Business Developer is responsible for developing Richmond Marketing’s leading premium products portfolio in the On-trade channel. They will be expected to demonstrate good negotiation and presentation skills along with a proven sales record and knowledge of the licensed trade. They should have a strong customer focus and be able to maintain a high level of productivity in all aspects of the role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Actively market & promote Richmond’s portfolio within the licensed trade. • Build strong direct & indirect route to market business • Achievement of value and volume targets • Execute promotions & visibility within the trade • Be aware and report on competitor and industry updates. • Deliver high standards of credit management across customer base. • Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. • Must maintain high standards of appearance, behaviour and discipline. • Adhere to performance appraisal procedures. • Build and maintain key relationships with On-Trade Sales Manager, Head of On-Trade, Telesales team and the brand & marketing teams. • Have a Strong teamwork focus, ensure full liaison with other team members and departments. • Any other duties and responsibilities which management deem appropriate from time to time. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Candidates must be eligible to drive in the Island of Ireland and have a full clean driver’s licence • Excellent relationship building, a strong customer focus and interpersonal skills are essential. • A good level of commercial awareness and the ability to demonstrate good negotiation skills. • Strong communication and presentation skills. Purpose of this job This role is central to the development of the Red Bull brand growth ambitions within the Irish market. The job holder will co-ordinate and project manage all trade-led marketing activities. The Strategy and Planning Manager is responsible for the development and coordination of the sales, trade marketing & insights teams, to deliver the Red Bull growth strategy whilst maintaining the brand personality & values. This successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills to deliver all means of communication (internal, trade & shopper), coordinate effectively between marketing and sales & oversee the POS development and implementation. They will work cross functionally to lead the execution of the market plan via Key Accounts and Field Sales teams, champion sales analysis to generate insight and deliver Category Management projects. Key responsibilities Strategy and Planning Support the Off Premise Manager to create the strategic vision for the short- and long-term growth in the market. Translating the global business strategy to the local market, and ensuring execution of same. Trade Marketing Knowledge & Capability Develop trade marketing strategies, utilizing trade and marketing experience to recommend best trade-led activities. Recommend and support trade activity proposals with commercial backing, pushing the brand guidelines whilst protecting the brand image. Create and develop all channels of communication that contribute to the timely execution of Red Bull initiatives at internal, trade or shopper level. Ownership of internal KPIs to support brand growth strategy. Business Insights Identify, develop, and implement necessary processes to enhance sales business performance within areas of: Revenue Growth Management Insights - ensuring the latest market trends and data are used to quantify and prioritise both challenges and opportunities with a growth mindset. Sales development analysis (by customer, by channel, by distribution point, etc.) to develop and measure specific strategies and KPIs. Alignment and Coordination of Sales and Marketing Activities to deliver Annual Business Plan Educate, orientate, and utilize the brand team to deliver through the line activity in store. Ensure Sales and Marketing are working hand in hand. Delivering Perfect Store across the Off Premise customer base ensuring Red Bull looks and acts like #1 in store. Support the alignment across customers and channels for all trade marketing activities. Category Management Oversee Category Management projects. Point of Contact for Reporting to International Off Premise Trade Team Ensure national team is regarded as ‘best in class’ by international team. Manage all the international requests of data sharing and international tool’s local implementation. Implementation of global tools (for in-store material creation, for elaboration of planograms, for evaluation of promotion efficiency…). Experience needed The candidate for the role should ideally have minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role The candidate should; Be hard-working, passionate and a reliable team player, with a growth mindset. Have clear understanding of markets, sales & distribution, competitor activity, consumer & shopper behaviour, category management & business insights in FMCG context Have strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends Be strategic thinking and be able to lead the sales strategy Education requirements University Degree (business, marketing or similar) Language requirements Fluent in written and spoken English *This is an 11 month maternity cover contract position. JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a highly competent Regional Business Manager to take ownership of the Munster territory. In this role, the RBM willbe the gatekeeper for Richmond in Munster, which includes, but is not limited to, the On-Trade, Out of Home and Off-Trade channels. The key objective is to develop Richmond’s portfolio across all relevant channels through head office key account relationships andthrough our field force in trade, ensuring Richmond's portfolio is available and visible. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Take full ownership of the territory performance across On-Trade, Out of Home and Off-Trade. Key metrics including volume,revenue, availability, visibility, and executional standards. • In this multi-channel role, the RBM will directly manage the On-Trade and Out of Home field force and will indirectly support theOff-Trade channel. • Maintain and enhance a team of high achievers by developing the key sales competencies within the team including selling,negotiation, and relationship management skills. • Work closely with key stakeholders across Richmond to align on strategy, commercials, and events. Specific On-Trade: 70% time allocation. • Set and implement quarterly KPI's. • Maintain the accurate completion of daily outlet audits with the team. • Develop and manage strong business relationships with key groups and customers. • Analysis of investment and promotions to refine future spending. Specific Off-Trade and Out of Home responsibilities: 30% time allocation. • Strategic input and support on key Off-Trade metrics: o Distribution in line with revenue growth management. o Execution. o Market share performance. o Process & implementation. • Support and build head office relationships with key stakeholders: Off Trade key account groups and wholesalers.
