Overview Technical Cofounder – B2B SaaS (Maintenance / Industrial) Rheba is building a maintenance intelligence system that helps engineers resolve machine faults quickly using their existing manuals and documentation. There is a working product, with pilot deployments scheduled to begin shortly. We are now looking for a technical cofounder to work alongside the founder as we continue building the system. The role This is a cofounder role with real ownership and responsibility. It does not need to be full time immediately. The level of involvement can grow over time based on fit and momentum. Equity will reflect contribution, responsibility, and long term commitment. What you’ll spend time on Shaping the technical direction of the product Building and maintaining backend systems Designing document ingestion and retrieval workflows Ensuring answers are grounded, traceable, and correct Improving reliability, performance, and failure handling Thinking carefully about edge cases and trust The core responsibility is making sure the system behaves predictably and never surprises users. What matters in this role You care deeply about correctness and trust You prefer clarity over cleverness You think about how systems fail, not just how they work You’re comfortable working on unglamorous problems You enjoy simplifying things that look complex If an answer isn’t supported by the documents, the system should say so. Helpful, but not essential Experience with backend systems or APIs Familiarity with cloud infrastructure or databases Interest in industrial, manufacturing, or B2B problems Curiosity about retrieval based AI systems If you don’t tick every box but this resonates, you should still reach out.
