  • Bar and Nightclub Manager

    Red Chair Recruitment are currently accepting applications for an experienced Bar and Nightclub Manager for one of our well-established clients in Killarney, Co. Kerry. The main responsibilities for the role will be to assist the owners with the everyday management, running and service of a busy bar. You will work as part of a team ensuring exceptional customer service to customers of a very well-established business popular with locals and tourists alike with a fantastic reputation for drink, music, and service. REQUIREMENTS 3+ Years Bar Manager experience in a busy bar and restaurant environment with a strong work ethic essential. Experience with cocktails and mixology considered an advantage. Excellent Communication, Leadership, Customer Service, Organization and Time Management Skills. Ability to manage and work within a team as well as on your own initiative.   • Red Chair Recruitment are presently looking for an Accounts and Administration Assistant for one of our clients, a mechanical services company based in Co. Kerry. The Accounts and Administration Assistant will be tasked with providing administrative support to senior management and other staff as needed, schedule maintenance calls and coordinate customer call outs, manage orders and invoices, assist with accounting, budgeting and bookkeeping tasks and other accounting and administrative duties.     Our client, based in Killorglin, Co. Kerry, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their team in Killorglin, County Kerry. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Procurement, helping to ensure that stock levels of both equipment and consumables are always aligned with the needs of the company and its customers. Key Responsibilities Placing of stock and spares purchase orders Following up order acknowledgments and delivery dates with suppliers Optimising stock levels to meet customer demand and minimising excess stock Regularly reviewing the classification of stock to meet the changing demand requirement of the customer, using the A/B/C/D stock holding class system Managing the phase out of products and the introduction of new products Setting up new items and suppliers in SAP Organising transportation of goods inward Dealing with supplier issues Ensuring that all items meet quality standards Invoice processing and handling of related queries Skills and Knowledge 1+ years’ experience in a similar purchasing role is essential Knowledge of ERP/MRP planning systems is essential, preferably SAP Knowledge of inventory management Experience in invoice processing and use of invoice processing software Excellent computer skills and strong numerical skills with competence in Excel / Word and other reporting tools are essential.     We are presently recruiting for an Offset Printer for our clients in County Offaly. You will come with previous experience as a Printer, specifically of working and running Offset printing presses or web-fed reel presses. Full introductory training will be provided. This is a permanent position based in County Offaly. Duties: Preparation of machines for printing, e.g., organisation of plates, inks, board, etc. Ensure all documentation is completed and information is correctly added in SME-UP. Report faults or any issues which may impact production. Manage the stock levels of inks and varnishes. Ensure printing machines and production areas are kept clean at all times. Adhere to and follow all company policies. Experience: 2+ years’ experience in a similar position. Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures for handling materials and equipment. Diagnose, repair, and escalate hardware or software problems as necessary. Provide initial user support and escalate issues when required. Perform general maintenance on audiovisual (AV) systems. Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in IT support. Third-level IT qualification (minimum 2-year diploma) required, with a willingness to undergo additional training as needed. Familiarity with Windows 11 Pro , firewalls, virtualization ( VMware and Hyper-V ), and server experience ( WS2016 upwards ) advantageous. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Previous experience with MICROS POS and/or Oracle Opera interfacing preferred. Knowledge of maintaining/troubleshooting domain IP networks, Active Directory , and Veeam Backup desirable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of AV systems is advantageous. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Flexibility to work overtime if required. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
