  • Industrial Electrician  

    - Dublin

    We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electricians to join our clients’ team in County Laois. Working on behalf of Irish Water and the Panel Inspection Framework. You will be responsible for inspection, testing, maintenance, and minor upgrades of electrical panels and associated systems across Irish Water facilities. This is a permanent position Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine and scheduled inspections of electrical panels in accordance with Irish Water standards. Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and minor repairs on control panels, MCCs, and instrumentation systems. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and risk assessments. Complete detailed inspection reports and documentation for each site visit. Liaise with site managers, Irish Water representatives, and internal teams to coordinate access and works. Support commissioning and decommissioning activities where required. Maintain tools, equipment, and PPE in good working order. Requirements: Fully qualified Electrician with a valid Safe Electric registration. Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial or utility electrical systems. Experience working with water/wastewater treatment plant infrastructure is highly desirable. Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and panel layouts. Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Trade salary rates apply with daily allowance along with travel allowance, fuel card, company vehicle and additional allowance are offered.     Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting for HGV Drivers for our clients, a plant hire company in Killarney, County Kerry. You will transport heavy machinery such as diggers, dumpers, and excavators to and from construction sites across Kerry and surrounding counties. This is a full time, permanent position with no nights out. Responsibilities Drive a low loader or flatbed truck to deliver and collect heavy plant equipment (e.g., excavators, diggers, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers) to and from construction sites. Ensure machinery is securely loaded and unloaded safely. Plan routes efficiently, considering weight limits, height restrictions, and travel times. Inspect vehicles and loads for safety before departure. Report any defects or mechanical issues promptly. Adhere to plant hire company policies and health & safety procedures. You will be providing relief to the team a couple of days a week transporting stock from the main site in Louth to clients across the country. This role is ideal for a professional driver looking for flexible work, with the opportunity to increase days over time. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the bathroom, tile, heating or building supply industry who enjoys helping customers plan and design their home improvement projects. Working from our showroom, you will guide customers through the selection of bathrooms, tiles and heating products, combining strong design awareness with technical product knowledge to recommend the most suitable solutions. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in the showroom, offering expert advice on bathroom, tile and heating products Support customers with design ideas, layouts and product combinations Accurately calculate measurements, quantities and materials required Provide technical guidance on product specifications and installation considerations Prepare quotations and proposals and convert enquiries into sale.
