They will perform work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership standards. They will communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts, inform the workshop manager if a vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue a special order of parts if necessary. They will diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair after confirming authorization by the customer. They will save and tag any and all parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer. They will examine the vehicle and perform vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required. They will notify service advisors immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised. They will attend factory sponsored training classes, maintain a clean and neat workspace and adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
