Responsibilities: Lead the integration of OEM equipment with the AVEVA PI system, ensuring accurate data capture, transmission, and utilization. Design and implement industrial networks for reliable communication between OEM equipment, Siemens PLCs, and the AVEVA PI system. Develop and optimize Siemens PLC programs for proper data collection and transmission from OEM equipment. Oversee hardware setup and configuration for OEM equipment, including sensors, actuators, and communication modules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, with a strong focus on OEM equipment integration. Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming (S7, TIA Portal) and experience with other PLC platforms. Strong knowledge of industrial networking protocols and experience with network design and troubleshooting. Experience with AVEVA PI system integration, including data tagging, historian configuration, and interface setup. Solid understanding of industrial hardware components and wiring standards. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    FULL TIME Meath Réalta Technologies requires an OEM Automation Engineer with over 5 years professional experience to support a Pharmaceutical client of ours on an ongoing project in Co. Meath. Responsibilities Lead the integration of OEM equipment with the AVEVA PI system, ensuring that all data streams are accurately captured, transmitted, and utilized effectively. Work closely with OEM vendors to understand the equipment's communication protocols and data points. Design, implement, and maintain robust industrial networks to facilitate reliable communication between OEM equipment, Siemens PLCs, and the AVEVA PI system. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues that may impact data flow and system performance. Develop, modify, and optimize Siemens PLC programs to ensure proper data collection and transmission from OEM equipment to the AVEVA PI system. Provide expert support in configuring and programming Siemens PLCs to meet project requirements. Oversee the hardware setup and configuration for OEM equipment, including sensors, actuators, and communication modules. Ensure that all hardware components are properly installed, configured, and tested for integration with the AVEVA PI system. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery. Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting to ensure that milestones are met on time and within budget.
