Senior Data Architect Daily Rate Contract (6 months) Dublin (Hybrid) Realtime is working with a client in Dublin that is looking to bring in an experienced Data Architect that has experience working on large scale Azure migration projects. In this role, you will take ownership and drive the target Data & AI Architecture to MS Azure. You will also work with key stakeholders across various IT domains that include Development, DevOps, Data & Security. Responsibilities Using your experience of architecture frameworks, communicate the target architecture with key business & IT stakeholders. Ensures compliance of solution architectural designs with target architecture and policies Support business representatives to understand and support the strategy and architecture roadmap. Oversee architecture governance process Supports the implementation of the cloud strategy Assesses new technologies or alternate options by conducting proof of concept style investigations Skills Required 3+ years in an architecture role as well as 10+ years in the field of Data Engineering/ Data Analytics Proven experience in designing of reliable, scalable, secure data cloud architectures at an enterprise scale Experience in data engineering, data storage, data warehousing, BI and analytics Strong data modelling & ETL pipelining experience Experienced in advanced analytics, ML/ Data Science Azure Migration Experience Data Lake & Lakehouse technology DataBricks Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Database The ability to translate business needs into IT Architecture requirements.
