  • HSQE Administrator

    Job Title:HSQE Administrator (Maternity cover) Location:Mullingar Hours of work:40 per week Reports To:HSQE Manager ROLE PROFILE: Provide a comprehensive administrative support focussing on Project administration and supporting the Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) Team. Assist with coordinating general office duties, which will include the accounts and wider operations teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: HSQE Administration: Assist with the creation of monthly HSQE reports Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned for internal HSQE meetings Generation of monthly KPIs Updating files on the internal file management system Transfer of safety forms from Nest system to Vision system Update of ad hoc HSQE reports General Support: Day to day general administration and data entry on internal systems. Supporting other functions in the business with administration tasks as required. Ordering stationary, office items etc. Contribute to the creation of project folders and management reports as required SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: ESSENTIAL: Experience in customer service both verbally and in writing Good communication and collaboration skills Ability to prioritise and multi-task work, with accuracy and attention to details Good IT Computer skills, specifically on Microsoft Office programmes Ability to time manage workload Good understanding of administration processes and best practices N.B.     Job Title: Substation Electrician Location:Ireland Reports To:PICW (Person In Charge of Work) ROLE PROFILE: Working on 33kV up to 400kV Substations on Assets Replacement and Maintenance related works Perform duties under the instructions issued by the PICW (Person In Charge of Work) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Installation of electrical infrastructure which includes, transformers, switchgear and cables Perform routine maintenance and repair substation electrical equipment including circuit breakers, power transformers, etc. Testing for loss of voltage before starting the work. Perform replacing old and erecting new switchgear, splicing and terminating conductors and cable installation works to client specifications. Fitting and removing local earths with the instruction given by the PICW Repairing electrical faults on transformers, Switchgear, power cables and other elements under the direction of PICW SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: ESSENTIAL: Experienced in the power industry on LV/MV/HV Networks Proven experience within a similar role on major projects Experience in using hand tools in proper manner Have the ability to carry out work instructions issued by the line manager Ability to work independently or as part of a team Good problem solving abilities Knowledge of hazards involved with working on and around energized electrical systems (lines and equipment/high and low voltage) Skill in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing Skill in performing various connections, configurations, procedures and phasing of circuits to transformers, breakers and disconnects Ability to perform strenuous work in all types of weather conditions DESIRED: Electrical Testing and Verification of Electrical Installations (Qualified Certifier) Course Registered Electrical Contractor with Safe Electric Portable Appliance Testing Course City & Guilds 9848-51 Certificate in High Voltage Operational Safety or a High Voltage Safety Awareness QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING: Electrical Engineering NVQ/Diploma Safe Pass Manual Handling Certificate First Aid Certificate MEWP Certificate Current Full & Valid Irish Driving License N.B. The role supports continuous improvement in quality management across all project teams, including the enhancement of digital record-keeping and compliance processes. By acting as a key collaborator and facilitator, the post holder will positively influence both internal and external project stakeholders to support delivery of customer satisfaction and reduce mistakes, rework/recalls, and defects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Quality Management & Support Develop employees practical application of Reach Actives operational and quality framework. Support teams in improving digital record-keeping, documentation, and compliance practices. Promote and embed the companys get it right first time ethos across all projects. Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to project teams to strengthen quality behaviours and standards. Audits & Compliance Conduct internal audits in line with ISO , as scheduled by the HSQE Manager. Audit a range of projects, processes, and activities to assess conformity and identify improvement opportunities. Produce accurate, well-structured audit reports and share findings with relevant parties. Support the business in implementing corrective and preventive actions where required. Collaboration & Engagement Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to support consistent quality performance. Facilitate learning, knowledge sharing, and engagement with quality best practices. Positively influence behaviours through strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Site-Based Activity Visit construction and utility project sites across the Island of Ireland. Observe, review, and support practical application of quality controls and safe working practices. Ensure quality-related issues are identified early and addressed promptly. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: ESSENTIAL: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, support and influence at all levels. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, including root cause analysis and problem-solving. Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and associated documentation. Ability to deliver training, mentoring and coaching. High attention to detail with strong organisational skills. Practical operational experience within the construction and utilities sector. Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records. Experience in the use of Microsoft and IT software Training & Qualifications Required IRCA-trained Internal Auditor (or working toward), with expertise in audit techniques and industry regulations. Experience working with and applying ISO 9001:2015 standards. Strong understanding of quality management principles, risk-based thinking, and process-focused auditing. Knowledge of industry technologies and regulatory requirements relevant to construction and utilities. Recognised Quality Practitioner qualification (but not essential if equivalent experience is held). N.B.
