    Role Title: Client Asset Oversight Analyst Division: RIMI Ireland Location: Dublin Contract: Permanent About the Role Supporting the Head of Client Asset Oversight in the oversight of outsourced custodian activities to ensure operational compliance with the CBI Client Asset Regulations (CAR). Working with key stakeholders in the RIM Operations teams and engaging with 2LOD (Compliance & Operational Risk). What you’ll be responsible for Client Money & Client Assets To support a focus on process optimisation and regulatory compliance with a view to developing and enhancing CAR-complaint operational processes and controls. To act as a point of contact for operational business areas on technical CAR queries. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of CAR-related policies and procedures. Working with the wider team, and business stakeholders, to review and analyse CAR breaches actively working towards reducing these, identifying trends, areas for additional oversight, and training gaps. Supporting the management of the RIMI (Ireland) CAR risk database; ensuring entries/data are up to date. Working with other assurance teams, in particularly Ops/Tech controls assurance, to support the periodic review of operational processes, both new and in-situ, relative to CAR to ensure that they remain appropriate and proportional, arrange for and/or perform testing or reporting in order to evidence this. To support liaison between the Group, in particular on behalf of RIMI (Ireland) and the regulator on CAR-related matters. To keep abreast with regulatory changes on CAR and to understand the impact on business requirements, and report accordingly to senior management. To assist, as required, with the firms daily and other CAR reconciliations. Actively develop, and embed, CAR and a CAR compliant culture across RIMI (Ireland), and support the development and embedding of a CAR compliant culture across the outsourced RIM teams. Promote CAR agenda at key governance forums and working groups. Supporting the creation, maintenance, & update of guidance materials to support all business areas on CAR compliance. Supporting the development, and rollout of training & awareness activities to support all business areas, and in particular those colleagues, senior managers, etc, with particular responsibility for CAR, with their understanding of the RIMI (Ireland) CAR framework, and Support the daily CAR reconciliation process. Help create, and implement performance metrics, supporting the reporting & escalation of associated information. Working with second line of defence Operational Risk, ensure that a consistent framework is in place to systemically identify, measure, mitigate, monitor & manage CAR risks. Embed a strong risk culture, where managing risk is simply part of how we work. Ensure adherence to the risk management policy and procedures, including expected standards of internal control. Reporting Support the monthly reporting to the RIMI (Ireland) Board highlighting areas of concern, key risks & salient issues. Participate, engage & produce regular updates (when requested) to senior management, including the RIMI (Ireland) Board, on CAR risks & issues, including RIM outsourced custodian activities adherence to regulatory requirements. Professional Development / Other Take responsibility for ensuring personal continuing professional development. Provide support to other team members, as required. About you Essential: previous experience in a regulated financial services firm.
