    Head of Sales - Food Ingredients A highly successful food ingredients organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead its sales function. The company supplies ingredient‑based solutions to the food industry with a strong focus on quality, technical capability, and long‑term customer relationships. The company is entering a new phase of growth, with clear plans to expand sales and deepen key customer partnerships. Role This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for sales strategy, execution, and performance. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a small but experienced sales team and play a central role in delivering an ambitious growth plan over the next four years. You will balance strategic planning with hands‑on customer engagement and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Set and deliver the sales strategy in line with company growth objectives. Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve commercial results. Manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts. Identify new business opportunities and lead senior‑level negotiations. Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting. Work closely with operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure customer needs are met. Represent the business at industry events and in senior customer meetings. About You You are an experienced sales leader with a strong background in B2B food or manufacturing environments. You are comfortable setting direction, driving performance, and building trusted customer relationships. Requirements 8–10+ years’ experience in food ingredients, including senior or leadership roles. Proven ability to lead teams and deliver sustained revenue growth. Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills. Experience managing strategic customer relationships. Clear communicator with the ability to influence across functions. Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or similar is desirable.
