Overview Position: Actuary Senior Associate – Life Actuarial Services. Senior Associate level with responsibilities across client delivery, mentoring, and contribution to broad practice development. You will work on life insurance and reinsurance projects, with exposure to diverse client situations and teams across PwC network firms. You will be supported with training and guidance from senior staff within the practice. Responsibilities Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, identify personal strengths and address development areas. Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities while coaching them to deliver results. Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems. Experiences and Skills Qualified actuary with 3+ years of relevant experience in the life insurance or reinsurance market from either a consultancy or industry background. Ability to build strong client relationships (internal or external) and communicate analysis and insights in plain English. Ability to develop and mentor junior staff, including technical training and performance management. Desire to build out propositions to meet client needs and develop a viable, commercial professional service offering. Strong IT (e.g. MS Excel and Word) and actuarial modelling skills; base advice on analytical abilities. Strong technical, problem identification, analytical and solutioning skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver quality work within timescales. Self-motivated with responsibility for personal development in technical and broader consulting skills.
