    Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in PAYE, Payroll, VAT returns, Bookkeeping, Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Rental Income, RCT, Revenue Audits, CRO filings, and Financial Statements for both individuals and companies. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for managing a team of accounting technicians, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and review financial statements for individuals and companies. Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns, PAYE, Payroll, Income Tax, Corporation Tax, and RCT filings. Ensure all filings with Revenue and the CRO are completed accurately and on time. Handle rental income reporting and ensure proper tax treatment. Lead and manage responses to Revenue audits and other tax-related queries. 2. Leadership & Team Management: Manage and guide a team of accountants and technicians in their day-to-day tasks. Provide technical guidance and training to the team on complex accounting and tax matters. Develop and implement team performance goals and KPIs. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. 3. Process Development & Improvement: Develop, document, and implement process workflows to streamline accounting operations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency. Ensure proper internal controls are in place to mitigate financial risks. 4. Client Management & Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and financial matters. Provide strategic advice to clients on tax planning, financial structuring, and compliance. Maintain strong client relationships and address any issues or concerns promptly. 5. Revenue Engagement: Liaise directly with Revenue on behalf of clients to resolve queries and disputes. Manage the process for Revenue audits and ensure successful resolution of any issues. Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly. Required Skills & Experience: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA). 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Irish tax laws and financial regulations. Experience with: PAYE and Payroll processing VAT returns and compliance Income Tax and Corporation Tax Rental Income reporting RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) Revenue audits and CRO filings Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements . Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to engage effectively with Revenue and handle complex client issues. Experience in developing and implementing process workflows. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
