Carry out immediate, effective repairs to resolve leaks, blockages, boiler breakdowns, and heating failures to restore service and ensure customer safety. Prioritise health and safety, isolating systems and making situations safe for clients pending further repair or replacement. Provide clear, calm, and professional communication to clients during stressful situations, explaining the issue and the required solution. Perform planned maintenance, servicing, and installations as required between emergency calls. Complete all job reports, safety certificates, and documentation accurately and promptly after each call-out. Requirements: Fully qualified plumber with a minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in a reactive or emergency maintenance role. RGI certified (essential). Willingness and ability to work on a 24/7 rotating on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Exceptional troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills under pressure. Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and self-management. Excellent customer-facing skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in emergencies. Full, clean driving license.
