Graduate Construction Account Manager
Our client is a well‑established provider of innovative solutions to the construction and property sectors, with over 20 years of experience delivering high‑quality services across construction personnel, engineering support, and specialist property operations. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a proactive and relationship‑driven Construction Account Manager to oversee key client accounts, ensure service excellence, and support the continued growth of their business portfolio.
This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role requiring strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is ambitious, organised, and eager to build a long‑term career within a successful and dynamic company.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with client property managers, site managers, and key stakeholders.
Manage and oversee pricing contracts, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client expectations.
Monitor ongoing works across multiple sites, ensuring all services are delivered to a consistently high standard.
Conduct regular site audits, preparing detailed written and verbal reports for clients.
Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and grow the existing business portfolio.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and resolution of any issues.
Track project progress, budgets, and timelines, escalating concerns where necessary.
Support tender submissions, proposals, and contract renewals.
Maintain accurate administrative records, documentation, and CRM updates.
Represent the company professionally at client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Requirements
Full, clean driving licence (role involves regular site travel).
Proven people management experience – ability to lead, coordinate, and influence teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a busy environment.
Commercial awareness and confidence in managing pricing, contracts, and client expectations.
Experience in construction, property, or engineering sectors is advantageous but not essential.
Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or hold a valid long‑term work visa.
