Key Responsibilities/Duties Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Communicate with all stakeholders at all levels (Weekly/Monthly Status Reports). Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Standards are upheld and delivered from inception to handover. Make decisions under pressure and use your initiative and problem-solving skills. Take full ownership of required projects. Provide good leadership to motivate and direct your team and take ownership of projects. Use excellent organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met and the project budget is maintained. Possess technical electrical knowledge and ideally general civil experience. Carry out technical evaluation of equipment offers and drive cost reductions. Liaise with existing and prospective clients. Ensure all site activities are carried out to Powercomm's high standards. Monitor and review contractors' activities in line with Powercomm procedures. What are we looking for: Electrical Engineering Degree. 5 Years Experience. Computer literacy (Microsoft packages, etc.). Powercomm Group is recruiting for a project supervisor for the design process (PSDP). This is a full-time permanent position working 39 hours per week. The project supervisor design process is appointed before design work commences and ensures the safety and effectiveness in addressing and co-ordinating safety and health matters from the very early stages of a project. Responsibilities: Identify hazards arising from the design or from the technical, organisational, planning or time related aspects of the project; Where possible, eliminate the hazards or reduce the risks; Communicate necessary control measure, design assumptions or remaining risks to the PSCS so they can be dealt with in the safety and health plan; Ensure that the work of designers is coordinated to ensure safety; Organise co-operation between designers; Prepare a written safety and health plan for any project where construction will take more than 500 person days or 30 working days or there is a particular risk and deliver it to the client prior to tender; Prepare a safety file for the completed structure and give it to the client; Notify the Authority and the client of non-compliance with any written directions issued. The PSDP may issue directions to designers or contractors or others.
