    My job Job Title: Technical Compliance Auditor Location: Flexible across GB,NI or ROI Purpose of the Role Key Responsibilities To gain a full understanding of the Pilgrim's Europe Business - all divisions, all functions which can impact food safety, quality, integrity & welfare (hereafter 'Technical') Maintain auditing standards and checklists, based on legal and customer requirements and industry best practice. Plan audit schedule and book in audits with adherence to the schedule; remaining flexible to support any additional specific audit requests and mindful that some factories work 24/7. Conduct and report audits professionally and to schedule; these may be compliance or continuous improvement style. Follow up on non-compliances raised in both internal and external audits. Ensure the audit department systems meet the requirements of all relevant certification standards and Customer Codes of Practice. Liaise as necessary with customers or statutory bodies, during factory audits and visits to deliver the information requested. This will include the implementation of any corrective action if required. Provide routine reporting on the auditing system and reporting of KPIs to the senior team. Provide support in all areas of the Pilgrim's Europe Business when and where required. This will include travel to all sites. Carry out any other auditing / technical roles as required by the business. Contribute to the department / add value by developing requisite skills in this area in line with Pilgrim's Europe competency framework. Work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc. Skills & Experience Required Management experience in a Quality / Technical Role in the Food Industry Intermediate knowledge of Excel & Word Databases Working knowledge of ISO 9000, BRC standards, HACCP, Food Legislation, and Food Hygiene. Report writing skills. Able to demonstrate experience in establishing & maintaining relationships with Customers, external contacts, management colleagues etc. Able to travel between all Pilgrim's Europe sites and agriculture sites. Reporting into the Brands & Snacking Business Unit Director, the Site Director is a driving force that acts as a catalyst for the growth and expansions of the organization through their expert management and strategic agility and planning. Ensure that all data and/or claims that are linked with product specifications can be supported and are validated against customer requirements, legislation, group policy or third-party protocols (e.g. RSPO logo approval, Vegan Society etc.). Receive, evaluate and action as appropriate requests to amend/update specifications ensuring effective communication with all relevant stakeholders. Legal pack copy generation of technical information required for product packaging (Primary and Secondary) ensuring compliance with customer requirements and relevant legislation. To upload approved cutter profiles onto customer portals.
