This role combines regional commercial leadership with local managing director responsibilities, offering accountability for growth, governance, and operational excellence across the Irish market. The position requires a senior commercial leader capable of shaping strategy, leading teams, and representing the organisation internally and externally at a country level. Key Responsibilities Commercial & Sales Leadership Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market share Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team, setting clear objectives and performance expectations Maintain oversight of sales performance, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM accuracy Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and distributors Ensure delivery of a value‑based, consultative sales approach aligned with customer needs Managing Director Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and representation of the business in Ireland Ensure compliance with local legal, financial, health & safety, and governance requirements Act as the primary interface with public authorities, industry bodies, and strategic partners Oversee budgeting, cost control, and disciplined use of commercial resources Uphold organisational values, ethical standards, and code of conduct Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Technical teams to deliver an integrated customer experience Support continuous improvement initiatives across processes, performance, and capability development Contribute insight and market intelligence to regional and global stakeholders Candidate Profile The successful candidate will demonstrate: Significant experience in senior industrial or technical B2B sales leadership, ideally within manufacturing or engineered solutions Proven capability in regional or country-level responsibility, including people leadership and commercial accountability Strong technical understanding of machining, tooling, or production environments Experience with value‑based selling, customer segmentation, and opportunity management Sound commercial judgement, data‑driven decision‑making, and financial awareness The credibility and professionalism required to operate as a country representative and senior leader Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) Typically 5-7+ years of relevant industrial sales experience 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing teams or regions Strong communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages beneficial Willingness to travel within Ireland and engage regionally as required Working Environment The organisation offers a structured and performance‑focused environment, with scope to influence strategy, develop people, and shape long‑term market presence.
