As a Business Banking Manager, you will have a dual purpose with focus both on a specific geographic location in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow region as well national responsibility for a business sector in the market. The primary purpose of your role is to maintain and further develop the Banks impairment and capital forecasting processes. The impairment (Expected Credit Loss) and capital (Risk Weighted Asset) forecasts underpin the quantification of short to medium term Pillar 1 (credit) regulatory capital requirements while Pillar 2 capital assists the Bank to assess its internal capital. As an Analyst in the Forecasting and Capital Optimisation Team you will play the role of translator understanding how complex credit models work while being able to explain key movements in plain English to colleagues across the business with varying levels of technical knowledge. Requirements: 1+ years experience working as an analyst in a banking or finance related field. 2:1 Honours Bachelors Degree (NFQ Level 8) in a financial/economics/mathematical or associated subject area. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with proven skills summarising and interpreting large volumes of data and translating into meaningful insights.
