  • Senior Accountant up to €75,000 Meath/Kildare - Construction - Onsite 5 days This is a wonderful opportunity to join a rapidly growing full-service construction/development company looking to contribute to solving our current housing shortage. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to support a growing business unit. This is a key role with responsibility for ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective cash and creditor management. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to financial decision-making within a fast-paced project-driven environment. Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis Lead the monthly financial close and present financial information for management and board reporting Produce consolidated financial reports across multiple sites and developments Support annual budgeting and forecasting, monitoring performance against targets and highlighting variances Analyse project costs and support cost-control initiatives Oversee invoice processing, GRN matching, requisitions, purchase orders, and project valuation billing Manage the full supplier and subcontractor creditor cycle, including payment runs, reconciliations, aged creditor reviews, and retention schedules Ensure compliance with construction-related tax obligations, including RCT, VAT, and subcontractor verification Manage intercompany transactions and reconcile balances across group entities Recommend and support improvements to systems, processes, and financial workflows Requirements Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) Experience in financial accounting, ideally within construction, contracting, or property development would be ideal Strong background in management accounts preparation and financial reporting Experience in project accounting, cost analysis, and WIP reporting is highly beneficial Expert-level Excel skills, including modelling and data analysis.   • Part-Time Finance Manager c €90,000 pro rata (€45,000) Location: South Dublin, 20 hours per week across 4 days (2 days on site, 2 days remote) This role is ideal for a finance professional, perhaps a 'mum returner' who enjoys a blend of hands-on financial management, compliance, and operational responsibility within a supportive and dynamic environment.
