The candidate must work as a team member in a crew environment, be safety‑oriented, possess strong leadership and CRM skills and embody superior customer service. They are responsible for all aspects of flight planning and decision making regarding possible delays, rerouting or flight cancellations. When not flying, they may perform other general department duties. As a pilot for Pentastar Aviation, crew members can expect to fly about 250 hours per year. The client generally gives at least 48 hours’ notice prior to trips. Qualifications US FAA ATP Certificate Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a FAA First Class medical certification Minimum of 4,000 hours of total flight time Large cabin Gulfstream experience required Current and qualified or prior experience with GIV type rating preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred Ability to manage changing work schedule Candidate must be able to show at the aircraft within 2 hours of initial notification No accidents, incidents or violations Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
