The Senior Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision and delivery of a high-quality Occupational Therapy service in the designated clinical area(s) and will carry out clinical, educational and administrative duties as required. Together with the interdisciplinary team and the service user, the aim of the Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Service is to provide individualised and group based, goal-directed specialist management designed to lessen the impact of impairment and promote self-management. The inpatient service is designed around a two-week elective self-management programme. The outpatient programme delivers IA, OA, IBP and persistent pain programmes.
