  • Leisure Club Membership Sales/Operations Manager role available at a 4-star luxury hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare, requiring a highly motivated individual with experience in the fitness industry and excellent customer service skills. The Osprey Hotel is a 4-star luxury urban retreat in the heart of Naas town, Co Kildare and is 35 minutes from Dublin City. The hotel is comprised of 108 luxurious guest rooms with custom furnishings. It is designed by one of Ireland's most respected architects Hugh Wallace. The fantastic leisure centre and spa has a 20-metre deck level pool, sauna, steam room and gym equipped with the latest cardio and resistance equipment. The successful candidate will have experience working in the fitness industry with excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and be able to work as part of a team. You will be responsible for developing new business and nurturing existing client and guest relationships resulting in increased membership sales and revenue for the leisure club. Within the Club, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Club ensuring all procedures are adhered to. Key Responsibilities: Sharp focus on social media, responding to all direct messages and comments on the Leisure Club pages. Financial reporting on all Leisure Revenue streams, creation of membership reports and monitoring of revenue. Assist with the creation and execution of the Leisure Club marketing plan alongside the Leisure Club Manager. Tracking all leads and referrals accurately to build a solid marketing database. Training of the leisure club team on how to maximise sales opportunities for both memberships and retail. Be a creative and analytical thinker who demonstrates strong and persuasive negotiating skills by creating and co-ordinating promotions, schemes and offers for the Osprey Leisure Club. Generating new quality leads and following up on them effectively. Maximise all areas of sales revenue by actively driving membership sales. Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure training of all team members to deliver excellent customer service also. Be a highly motivated person capable of creating and maintaining a large client network. Demonstrate strong organisational skills and excellent customer service etiquette. Be professional in approach and capable of working on your own initiative and possess a positive communication skillset. Provide top-line industry leadership and management of all leisure sales activities. To be completely familiar with all products and services within the hotel complex and to promote them whenever possible. To comply with legal and statutory requirements relating to hygiene, fire, health and safety. To ensure that all areas are consistently kept to the highest standards of maintenance and cleanliness.     Position: Swimming Teacher (Part Time Permanent) Location: Osprey Leisure Club at the Osprey Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare Osprey Leisure Club is currently recruiting for a Part Time Swimming Teacher to join the team. The Hotel The Osprey Hotel, located in Naas, Co. Kildare, is just 35 minutes from Dublin City and close to all major routes. Your New Role Working as part of the Leisure Club team, you will be responsible for delivering high quality, professional swimming coaching, teaching and instruction to groups and individuals. Responsibilities and duties for this role will include: Deliver effective swimming lessons and instruction programmes including group lessons, one-on-one lessons, and teaching baby and toddler swim. Develop and implement lesson plans. Observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement. Teach proper breathing techniques used during physical exertion. Work alongside the swimming coordinator, other swimming teachers/coaches, and lifeguards. Develop positive relationships with swimmers and parents/guardians; be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment to motivate and encourage individuals to participate. Update and record swimmers' progress on a weekly basis. Commit to continuous professional development relevant to the position. Clean and tidy all areas and facilities, including pool areas, changing rooms, and toilets. Ensure swimming pool maintenance and safety. Requirements: Swim Ireland Level 1 or Level 2 Swimming Instructors Qualification or equivalent (Level 2 qualification is desirable). Irish Water Safety Pool Lifeguard Qualification desirable. Prior experience in swimming teaching and pool supervision in a similar sports or leisure facility. Previous experience teaching Babies & Toddlers. First Aid / AED trained. Responsibilities and duties for this role will include: You will be responsible for overseeing the member and guest experiences of our fitness and leisure offering. Instruct or coach groups or individuals in exercise activities and the fundamentals of sports. Demonstrate techniques and methods of participation. Observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary to improve their skills. Pool Supervision. Enforce fitness center policies and procedures. Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form. Carry out fitness assessments and body composition screenings. Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations within the Leisure Club. Offer alternatives during classes to accommodate different levels of fitness. Plan routines, choose appropriate music, and choose different movements for each set of muscles, depending on participants' capabilities and limitations. Observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement. Teach proper breathing techniques used during physical exertion. Instruct participants in maintaining exertion levels in order to maximize benefits from exercise routines. Teach and demonstrate the use of training equipment such as weights. Maintain fitness equipment. Cleaning and tidying all areas and facilities, including pool areas, changing rooms, and toilets. Swimming pool maintenance and safety. Monitor participants' progress and adapt programs as needed. Evaluate individuals' abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develop suitable training programs to meet any special requirements. Advise clients about proper clothing and shoes. Promote health clubs through membership sales, and record member information. Supervise Leisure Club staff and provide training to new and existing team members. Deal with any guest complaints, queries, and suggestions quickly and efficiently. Take sole responsibility for the Leisure Club during your working shift, including delegating tasks to team members. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role.
