What You’ll Do Plan, research, write, and edit documentation, including help text, user guides, technical documentation, release notes for software, operational guides, etc., while following processes, guidelines, and operating procedures. Maintain high documentation quality standards. Determine documentation requirements and make plans for meeting them. Assess the audience’s needs and adjust tone and terminology to ensure understanding of the technical information. Organize and structure technical content in a way that makes it easy for the reader to follow. Meet with developers, programmers, subject matter experts, and project managers to gather information and learn about specific products or processes. Investigate the accuracy of the information collected by making direct use of the material being documented. Gather feedback from stakeholders to improve technical documentation. Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to team members. Maintain existing documentation content to ensure it is current. Perform any other work related to this role. Who You Are 4+ years' experience with Madcap Flare and Capture (Intermediate level or higher). 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position. Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Jira for task tracking. Familiarity with version control repositories and clients such as TortoiseSVN. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented. Ability to manage your daily workload and juggle multiple projects with minimal supervision. Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to edit and proofread our work.
