Job Summary: Manage the day-to-day running of the site. Maintain accurate site records and documentation. Checking plans, drawings and supervision of subcontractors across the project. Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site. Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards. The Estimator will join their team in Clonmel. Key Responsibilities Liaising with quantity surveying team, procurement, subcontractors and other stakeholders as necessary. Collaboration with all project stakeholders to understand requirements and develop estimating and tendering strategies that meet project objectives. Using estimating software along with other relevant tools such as excel to work as effectively and efficiently as possible. Keeping up to date with current building techniques and relevant codes of practice, building regulations and legislation to make sure these are taken account of in the estimating process. Preparing successful Tender Bids and handover to the Project Team. Qualifications and Experience 15+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering works. Experience as an estimator in main contracting environment with proven experience on submitting project bids. In depth knowledge of building regulations and standards. Ability to effectively manage estimating process and associated schedules to required deadlines. Strong I.T skills are essential, including with packages such as CostX or Buildsoft.
