Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisors, the key responsibilities of this role are to ensure that the all paint jobs are carried out in line with scheduling requirements and to the standards and specifications required. The Spray Painter will work with the Paint Preparation and Recycling Operative in all paint and recycling activities which must be carried out in line with environmental and health and safety legislation and best practice. All OCE policies and procedures regarding paint and paint related ingredients are to be followed at all times. Health and Safety is a priority in this role. All appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safety instructions must be followed . In the event of a spillage of a hazardous or chemical material occur the Paint Preparation and Recycling Operative (or supervisor in his absence) will be the first point of contact. Although the primary function of this role is painting, the Spray Painter must remain flexible to assist in other general duties.
