    The Fabricator / Welder works as part of the production team of Fabrication Technicians, Metal Fabricators and Welders and is integral to overall production operations. Main duties: - Read and interpret technical drawings to produce steel components - Take measurements to ensure accuracy - Cutting steel as required - Use welder to tack components - Ensure components are as per the specification required - Work from jigs as required - Operate power and hand tools to complete jobs - Run machines as required to complete jobs - Ensure smooth running of welding works required - MIG welding to ensure precise, seamless joints - Welding to symbol requirements - Complete welding tests as deemed necessary by production management - Ensure work is completed to the high standard required - Work to timelines set by production management - Adhere to all health and safety standards set for the role of Welder - Maintain PPE compliance - Maintain a clean and organised work station - Ongoing quality control checking of own work - Take part in any training required for the fulfilment of the role - Compliance with ISO9001:2015 and EN1090 This list provides a synopsis of duties, and is not exhaustive.   • Balcony Assembly  

    - Killarney

    Job description The Assembly Operative is part of the team that assembles and prepares parts of steel structures and modular components for dispatch. The components are fabricated locally prior to assembly and require meticulous attention to detail to ensure seamless installation on site. This role would be particularly suited to those with experience in either carpentry or assembly of steel components. Health and Safety is a priority; therefore, in the role of Assembly Operative, you are required to adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safety instructions. Main duties include: Measuring, squaring, bolting, banding, and assembling steel components. Ensuring all parts are clean and meet the high standards required. Gathering and moving materials as required. Preparation and loading of items for transport. Banding steel. Ad hoc tasks as required. Undertaking training as required for the role. Minimum requirements of the Assembly Operative: Proven experience in fitting and assembly of components. Experience in carpentry, fabrication, or a manufacturing environment. Previous experience working with steel or metal components. Flexibility to move between projects. Basic IT skills. The Assembly Operative role requires a minimum of 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. For more information visit www.ocarrollengineering.com. General scope of role: The Maintenance Electrician is part of a team who look after the maintenance of OCE assets and facilities. Maintenance can occur on a routine preventative basis or can be required on an unscheduled basis. The Maintenance Electrician will work closely with Maintenance Supervisor, to ensure the safe & smooth running of the business. This role is not restricted to electrical works and will require flexibility to carry out maintenance works across all O’ Carroll Engineering facilities. The Maintenance Electrician must ensure all OCE policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Main duties: - Actively complete scheduled and unscheduled repairs to ensure smooth running of workshop floors, - Update the Asset Management System (AMS) following any completed works, - Ensure all projects are carried out in line with OCE requirements, - Routine maintenance checks on forklifts and document same, - Manage and maintain stocks of gas, - Attend meetings as required, - Further the Lean Process , partake in Lean initiatives and ensure Lean principles are followed, - Partake in internal and external audits, as required, by the ISO9001 and EN1090 standards, - General ‘ad hoc’ duties as required and directed by management. Minimum requirements of Maintenance Electrician: - Qualified Electrician, - Maintenance, electrical or related work experience - Excellent communication skills - Proven ability to multi-task - Flexibility to move between projects The Maintenance Electrician role requires a minimum of 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
