How You'll Perform the Role Waddington Europe has a vacancy for a Management Accountant to work for Waddington Europe - Arklow site. Responsible for all aspects of Management Accounting and to assist the Head of Finance. The ideal candidate will be a part/qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA) preferable with relative experience in the industry, strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as time management skills and knowledge of IT and accounting systems with very strong Excel skills. This role is available working 7.5 hours per day, full time. What We Need From You Assist with month-end management accounts and reports within deadlines Monthly stock takes and reconciliations, including all movement transactions Produce inventory analysis and commentary reporting for management Assist with the preparation of annual budgets Prepare and explain / investigate weekly and monthly statistics for key performance indicators Assist with the annual statutory audit and liaising with external auditors Trial balance reconciliations Cost and revenue analysis Bank account reconciliations / cash flow forecasting Balance sheet account reconciliations including accruals and prepayments Maintain the site fixed asset register including additions, disposals and depreciation Assist with preparing Central Statistics (CSO) information Bi-Monthly VAT return Preparation of monthly Vies and Intrastat returns Variance Analysis reports Daily sales price reconciliation Daily bank upload to cash portal Annual reporting of Waste Legislation Ad hoc requests from both WE management and Novolex USA Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues Establish procedures & controls to increase company standards Carry out any reasonable duties we request that are within your abilities, irrespective of grade/skill level. How You'll Perform the Role Waddington Europe has a vacancy for an Maintenance Engineer - Electrician to work for Waddington Europe - Arklow site. Have you got experience of multi-skilling in electrical/mechanical problem solving? Are you an analytical person? Do you have experience of working in a busy production plant? If so, this could be the role for you. Our ideal candidate will possess a National Craft Certificate. You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of all equipment in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will support a 24 hour/7 day working manufacturing process by performing installation, planned and unplanned maintenance and repair functions in all areas of the factory and plant. You will support the maintenance manager with the continual development and improvement of the facilities and services available to the business. You will work proactively to identify and act upon any substandard area within the factory or plant. This role is available working a two shift rotation, week one 8am-4pm followed by week two 4pm-Midnight working 7.5 hrs per day, full time. What We Need From You Perform a series of planned maintenance tasks in accordance with the production schedule React to unscheduled machine stoppages/breakdowns in accordance to shift manager’s requests Maintain records for work carried out and spare parts usage in accordance with the prevailing system requisite Communicate to the shift managers the anticipated work and anticipated time of return to service of machines and equipment Ensure that machines are returned to production in a safe and hygienic condition and suitable for their intended use Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others in the working environment whilst performing your duties Development/training – assist with the training of others and participate in any training requirements associated to the role Support – to operate with a degree of flexibility providing support where necessary to other areas of the business, including machine operation, out of hours’ work etc. Improvements – make recommendations and ensure all necessary improvements are carried out within the factory to increase and improve the function of the department Continuous Improvement – promote ideas to improve processes and systems Operate and participate in an on-call roster when required by the business needs and work as part of a rotational day/afternoon shift pattern Ensure all company hygiene regulations and procedures are followed and adhered Ensure through knowledge of legislation, that the plant is maintained in accordance with all known regulations Undergo additional training as and when required to perform their respective duties safely and effectively What You'll Get From Us Benefits With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
