Role Description This is a full‑time on the road position for a Stone Worktop Fitter. The Stone Worktop Fitter will be part of a team that is responsible for the precise installation of natural and composite stone worktops at client locations. Day‑to‑day tasks include measuring and preparing installation sites, transporting worktop materials, ensuring the correct positioning and secure fitting of each piece, and performing quality checks. The role also involves liaising with clients, adhering to design specifications, and addressing any on‑site challenges to deliver outstanding results. Qualifications Proficiency in stonework installation techniques, including cutting, and fitting natural and composite stone worktops. Assisting with joints, mitres sink and hob cut outs. Silicone and sealing to a high standard. Experience with tools and safe loading, unloading and handling of stone materials. Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients. Ability to read design plans, and technical specifications with attention to detail. Problem‑solving skills to address and resolve on‑site challenges effectively and independently. Flexibility and readiness to travel for client installations, with the ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines. Previous experience working with stone fabrication, furniture or cabinet installation, or a related field is a plus.
