The Role
The overall purpose of this role is to work in close collaboration with the operations team based in New Ross, providing an efficient and professional HR administration service, giving guidance and support in a timely manner.This is a busy role with an employee headcount of approximately 1,000 employees and will suit someone with excellent attention to detail and a drive to progress their career in HR.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of HR employee systems / processes, including; time management system, holiday planner, employee data, training records, filing, letters, forms, etc
Prepare and provide the relevant HR documentation to all employees (contracts, forms, policies, etc)
Deal with all first line employee queries; time and attendance, payroll, policies and procedures, general HR queries, etc
Provide administrative support for the recruitment and selection process
Ensure accurate HR reports are produced and communicated
Provide direct HR administrative support to the HR Manager / HR Director as required
Involvement in HR projects
Training
Complete induction training for all employee groups
Training needs analysis
Organising all refresher training in advance of any expiry
Ensuring that all training records are completed in full and available on both electronic and paper file/auditing of records
Sourcing and costing external training providers
Develop current training processes and systems
Talent mapping and succession planning
Requirements
Relevant third level HR Degree and/or recognised HR qualifications (CIPD)
Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Irish Employment legislation
Proven ability to work independently, maintaining complete confidentiality
Must have initiative to close out assigned tasks and projects in full
Excellent communication, diplomatic and organisational skills
Tact and ability to deal with difficult situations
Excellent IT skills and accurate data entry
Train the Trainer qualification is preferable
Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
