The Role We are seeking Senior Resident Engineers - MEICA with the preferred candidates having at least 7 years of experience in a similar role. This role provides an opportunity to play a vital role within the site supervision team on Water and Wastewater infrastructure projects in a rapidly growing Irish-owned company where efficient procedures and processes, in an ever-changing business environment, are a must. The successful candidate will be an integral member of our team and will work with our staff to ensure the highest quality and standards are achieved in all our activities and services that we provide to our clients. Responsibilities Reporting to the Project Resident Engineer and Employer’s Representative. Liaison with the Site Supervision Teams on each Contract. Dealing with contractual matters on-site related to MEICA Works. Assessment of Contractor claims and writing reports on same. Assessment of Contractor payment applications against work completed. Assessment of Contractor performance against Contractual KPIs. Assessment of Contractor submissions including method statements and preparation of clear comments. Review Contractor MEICA design submissions including equipment details against client requirements and preparation of clear comments. Supervise works, keeping records, measuring, managing correspondence, and contractual documentation. Monitoring the commissioning of the works and process proving. Other duties as may be assigned. Qualifications Primary degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other relevant disciplines. 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in major engineering projects. Strong knowledge of the water industry is preferred. Familiarity with industry-standard forms of contract. Experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of MEICA infrastructure. Expertise with P&IDs, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Control Philosophy, and Factory/Site Acceptance Testing. Awareness of Health & Safety and welfare at work requirements during construction and operation.   • Project Engineer - Water

    About the Role We are seeking a Project Engineer – Water to support the delivery of water infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, and internationally, with a particular focus on utility clients, and opportunities to contribute to projects across a wider portfolio depending on business needs and individual interest. The role involves contributing to and progressing projects from initial brief through to completion, supporting the delivery of projects on programme, within budget, and to the required technical and quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Engineers, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while continuing to develop their technical and project management capabilities. Key Duties and Responsibilities Support the delivery of water infrastructure projects from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design, procurement, construction, and completion, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality requirements. Preparation of Feasibility Studies, Route and Site Selections, and Concept Design Reports. Preparation of Outline and Detailed Designs, including drawings, calculations, and technical reports. Prepare Technical Specifications and Contract Documents for main works and investigation contracts. Support Tender Evaluation and Procurement processes. Assist in the preparation of documentation required for statutory approvals, including planning permissions, land acquisition, and wayleaves. Support construction stage contract administration, including site inspections and compliance monitoring. Assist in the development of project plans, including programme scheduling, budgets, and resource planning. Coordinate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to support effective project delivery. Contribute to technical delivery on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements. Attend client, stakeholder, and technical meetings and contribute to project discussions in consultation with senior staff. Prepare technical reports, designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications for review by senior engineers. Assist with project cost tracking, programme monitoring, and change management activities. Identify project risks and support the implementation of mitigation measures. Maintain effective communication on project progress, risks, and technical matters internally and with clients. Perform site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
