We are currently partnering with a highly respected and forward-thinking Professional Services firm based in Waterford, to recruit a Tax Director to join their expanding Tax Practice. This is a newly created role that plays a key part in the firm’s strategic growth within its Tax division and will support the current Tax Partner. The role will work predominantly on Corporation Tax Issues but also provide Strategic Tax Advise across other Tax Heads. The Firms clients would include a number of well-known high growth businesses currently expanding domestically & internationally. This is a great opportunity for someone in a Big 4/Top 10 Firm who is looking to work more closely with clients in providing functional Tax advice as they grow their businesses. The role is fully remote and has an excellent salary/package. Key Responsibilities: Build and lead strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients. Deliver high-quality tax advisory and compliance services in collaboration with partners and senior leadership. Lead on tax advisory projects such as due diligence, IP planning, and corporate reorganisations. Work cross-functionally with other departments to support business development and international assignments. Manage tax compliance obligations for a varied portfolio of corporate clients. Contribute to the department's strategic planning, operations, and growth initiatives. Mentor and support the development of junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture. Candidate Profile: A professional accountancy or tax qualification (ITI, CTA, ACA, ACCA) is preferred. Proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients, with strong commercial insight. Deep technical knowledge in corporate tax advisory and compliance. Prior experience working with FDI clients is advantageous but not essential. A collaborative team player with a background in managing and developing staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
