Galway Role Type: Full time Permanent Shift: Day Shift Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm Job Overview: Managing or performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods including: General production manufacturing work. Assembling finished components or parts into finished products. Setting up and operating machine tools to convert materials into parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. Surface finishing of parts, components, and assembled items including washing/painting/plating/anti-corrosion coating, hardening, polishing/engraving/etching, etc. Packaging materials or finished goods into containers for the purpose of protection, display, and handling Responsibilities: At the support intermediate level, this role performs a variety of routine and moderately complex tasks with increasing independence. The individual applies established job knowledge and skills to complete assigned work efficiently, recognizing the broader impact on co-workers and other departments. Responsibilities may include responding to information requests, researching basic issues, and resolving routine problems using defined procedures and judgment. This role communicates detailed and accurate information clearly to both internal and external contacts, ensuring understanding and follow-through. While most work is guided by standard processes and procedures, there is some latitude to exercise judgment in handling non-routine tasks. Work is performed with moderate supervision, with the expectation that the individual will seek guidance as needed and continue building technical and functional proficiency. Galway Hybrid Role - 2 days on site Department: Supply Chain / Purchasing Become a key player in our Global Supply Chain team as a Buyer , supporting the medical device portfolio that helps improve lives around the world. This role offers the opportunity to manage critical supply flows, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure continuity of supply across a complex international network. What You’ll Do Action MRP messages and other supply chain requirements to maintain material availability. Place accurate purchase orders with approved vendors based on MRP signals, ensuring delivery schedules are aligned and achievable. Maintain up-to-date master data in Oracle (EBS) for purchasing parameters, lead times, and part attributes. Coordinate and execute inter-company PO flows across Natus sister sites globally. Optimize inventory levels while safeguarding supply continuity and minimizing Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH). Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to support supplier negotiations, cost reviews, and contract renewals. Coordinate closely with internal functions including Planning, Quality, Engineering, Compliance, Trade, and Finance to resolve supply-related issues. What We’re Looking For – Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems – Oracle EBS experience highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
