Role Summary This role is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Health & Safety and Operational Excellence across multiple sites. This includes ensuring legal and ISO compliance, improving safety management systems, conducting inspections and audits, and leading an in-house team. The role also involves overseeing training, investigating incidents, strengthening safety culture, coordinating ISO audits, and developing and delivering a roadmap for operational excellence. A key aspect is identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, using data to track progress, and fostering a collaborative environment to encourage engagement and shared ownership of safety and efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Minimum: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health & Safety qualification (IOSH membership preferred). Experience:5+ years in Health & Safety management, ideally in automotive, logistics, manufacturing, or heavy industry. Certifications: Demonstrated experience maintaining ISO certifications ). Methodologies: Exposure to or training in Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies (Green Belt or similar desirable). Leadership: Experience mentoring or leading a small team. This is a customer-facing sales role, focused on building strong client relationships, winning new business, and growing sales of our market-leading portfolio of vehicle conversions, Scattolini body builds, and Sortimo shelving systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive, solution-selling approach that delivers real value to our customers. Key Responsibilities Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent service, proactive communication, and long-term customer satisfaction. Business Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across CAFCO's full portfolio, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Solution Selling: Understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and clearly articulate the value of NVD Group products and services. Relationship Development: Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through regular meetings, site visits, and ongoing support. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in business development or sales, ideally within automotive, fleet, or vehicle conversion sectors. Proven track record in winning and growing commercial accounts. Experience managing tenders and RFPs. Familiarity with LCV conversions, body builds, or shelving systems (advantageous) Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a customer-first mindset. Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building abilities. Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Full, valid driving licence required.
