Summary of Position The Vehicle Estimate Supervisors responsibility includes checking the quality of all estimates and working to improve the estimate process. This role involves assessing vehicle conditions, determining labour and parts costs, and working closely with technicians, insurance adjusters, and customers to ensure a seamless repair process. Proficiency in estimating software (Audatex, Sage). Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and collision repair techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to interpret insurance policies and repair guidelines. Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join our Accident Repair Centre. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive spray painting, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, mixing paints to match factory colours, and applying paint to vehicle bodies in a way that meets or exceeds manufacturers standards. Pay and Benefits: €52,000 - €57,000 including workshop bonus and shift premium Pension Scheme Staff Purchase Schemes: Tyres Tools Employee Assistance Programme Discounted Gym Membership Bike to Work Requirements: Proven experience as a Spray Painter in an automotive repair setting. Strong knowledge of painting equipment, materials, and techniques. Experience with water-based paint is essential. Ability to mix and apply paint in a manner that meets high quality standards. Good understanding of colour theory and colour matching. High attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Vocational training or certification in auto body painting is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Responsibilities Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming. Mix and match paint to ensure perfect colour alignment with original factory specifications. Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns and other equipment, ensuring even coverage and proper thickness. Operate heating or drying equipment to accelerate paint drying. Perform quality checks on completed jobs to ensure there are no defects. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with health and safety regulations. Keep records of paint usage and supplies to manage inventory effectively. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of vehicles.
