SBCI has developed a digital platform, the 'SBCI Hub', for engaging and delivering enhanced end-to-end digital processes and services to our Lending partners, SMEs and SBCI end users. We are seeking the skills of a Digital Transformation Manager who will lead SBCI's digital transformation, ensuring the delivery and continuous improvement of the SBCI Hub platform and coordinating the delivery/improvement of other IT solutions. Manage Cloud and Security infrastructure to maintain robust cybersecurity standards. Qualifications and Skills Qualifications Minimum 7 years' experience in IT operations or project management within financial services or IT consultancy. Proven experience in digital transformation projects, UX principles, and stakeholder engagement. Role Summary SBCI is seeking to recruit a Senior Software Engineer to join our DevOps team responsible for the SBCI's Hub platform. The Hub is a custom-build, cloud-based solution used by the SBCI to manage all aspects of our products. It has a variety of user roles including customers, lenders as well as a variety of internal SBCI roles (Customer Service Agents, Lending, MI and Finance teams etc). The primary role of the successful candidate is to work closely with the Solution Architect and various technical and business stakeholders on all future changes and lead the development across the entire stack and range of functionality, implement technical tasks (investigations, environment configuration, implement standards etc). This position requires strong proficiency in Java Springboot, Angular and SQL, along with a deep understanding of CI-CD, security, data warehousing concepts and agile/dev-ops best practices. It represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to take up a challenging and interesting position supporting the finance operations for Ireland's sovereign development and wealth funds (Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), Future Ireland Fund (FIF), Infrastructure and Nature and Climate Fund (ICNF). Principal Accountabilities May include but are not limited to the following: Administration of loans including reviewing facility agreements, calculating interest, applicable fees and repayments for review and approval. Review partnership agreements and interpret reporting requirements and partnership structures. Review investee allocations and capital account statements. Review and process capital call and distribution notices. Track daily cash activity, including setting up wire payments and daily cash projections. Prepare and review accounting journals ensuring accurate records of investment transactions are maintained . Correspond with General Partners, Investees and Borrowers on queries. Assist in year-end valuation process for direct equity investments. Prepare/Review daily and monthly management reporting. Input/review transaction and valuation information into the portfolio management system (IBOR). Review/ prepare the reconciliation of the daily NAVs produced by the Fund's Portfolio Management System to the ABOR. Assist tax advisors with fund and investor K-1s review and various tax payments. Review Investment Manager and Custodian fees. Respond to business unit requests in a professional and timely manner. Support internal and external audits. The SCA's principal objectives are: The SCA is obliged by statute to manage delegated claims and counterclaims in such manner as to ensure that the liabilities of the State authorities are contained at the lowest achievable level. In performing this function the SCA seeks to act fairly and ethically in its dealings with people who have suffered injuries and who take legal actions against the State or State bodies, and the families of these people; and To implement targeted personal injury and property damage risk work programmes to mitigate litigation risk in State authorities and healthcare enterprises, in order to reduce the costs of future litigation against the State. The SCA is obliged by statute to manage claims for legal costs, and recovery of legal costs however such costs are incurred. The SCA's remit covers personal injury and third-party property damage risks and claims relating to certain State authorities including the State itself, Government ministers, the Attorney General, the Health Service Executive, the voluntary healthcare sector, An Garda Sochna, the Irish Prison Service, the Defence Forces and community and comprehensive schools. It also manages third-party costs arising from certain Tribunals of Inquiry. Role Summary The Legal Costs Unit within the State Claims Agency is seeking to recruit a Legal Cost Accountant to join an established legal costs team, managing more than 1500 legal cost claims per annum. Reporting to the Head of Legal Costs, the role involves management of high-volume solicitors' bills of costs and negotiation with a view to achieving savings. Principal Accountabilities The principal accountabilities associated with the role will include: Professionally analyse and scrutinise incoming bills of costs including liability for payment.
