What You’ll Lead & Inspire Champion a design‑led vision across Musgrave, ensuring that every digital interaction reflects our commitment to quality, community, and trust. Guide and elevate the UX team , creating an environment where designers can grow, innovate, and do their best work. Define the UX strategy that supports Musgrave’s long‑term goals and strengthens our role in communities across Ireland and Spain. Establish strong UX governance , enabling clarity, consistency, and excellence across products, platforms, and teams. Build momentum around design culture , raising awareness of usability, accessibility, and inclusive design. Discover and articulate customer needs , uncovering the opportunities that shape more intuitive, seamless journeys. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners , bringing together insights, creativity, and technology to deliver solutions that matter. Your Impact In this role, you’ll help create digital experiences that make a difference for millions, every single day. You will: Hold deep understanding of how our digital products work together and the systems behind them. Lead the creation and evolution of our design system and UX assets. Mentor and develop talent, helping designers define their growth paths and achieve them. Ensure UX excellence and a consistent customer‑centric approach across the organisation. Drive meaningful research using both data‑driven and human‑centred methods. Design experiences grounded in simplicity, clarity, and genuine customer value. Keep Musgrave ahead of emerging UX and retail trends. About You Energised by shaping experiences that positively impact real people. Skilled at navigating cross‑functional environments and influencing at all levels. Passionate about elevating digital experiences across mobile, web, and in‑store touchpoints. Grounded in both UX craft and strategic thinking, with a strong understanding of design, technology, and customer behaviour. What we're looking for A UX or HCI‑specific qualification (a strong advantage). Experience leading and developing a design team. At least 3 years of hands‑on UX design experience for mobile and web. Strong relationship‑building and collaboration skills. Project‑management strengths and the ability to balance urgency with user needs. Familiarity with front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS) and app store requirements. A solid understanding of visual design, identity, and brand expression.
