We are now inviting applications for the position of Post Office Assistant. The successful candidate must be flexible to work days and weekends. This type of role will have an agreed shift pattern set within the store opening hours. Shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to discuss working hours and shift patterns in further detail at the interview. Candidates must be able to travel to the Store via car, public transport or other to fulfil shift requirements. The Role Work as part of the instore post office team to deliver an exceptional service for our customers, whilst maximising post office services and upselling products, as appropriate. What you’ll be doing Processing bill payments, lodgements, and other services applicable to the post office running. Processing mail, parcels, and other related postal services. Reporting and balancing of your own stock unit and safe daily. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of post office services in compliance with financial standards and authority guidelines. Adherence to the company’s store operating procedures applicable to the running of the post office. Preparing and processing banking via the appropriate external services, as and when required. You may be required to carry out shop floor, till or administrative duties, with appropriate training, as and when required as part of this role. What is in it for you?
