Role Summary We are seeking a Deputy Manager with approximately 4 years experiencein hospitality management to support the General Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the hotel. This role requires hands-on involvement across departments, a strong guest-focus, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of hotel operations including accommodation, food & beverage, front of house, events, and guest services. Oversee staff scheduling, performance management, and training to ensure high service standards. Monitor and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for guest safety, hygiene, and satisfaction. Ensure financial targets are met: revenue, expenses, budgets. Analyse reports (sales, payroll, stock) and suggest improvements. Act as point of escalation for guest complaints/issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner. Support marketing and sales initiatives, especially for weddings, events, and special promotions. Deputise for the General Manager in their absence. Requirements Minimum 4 years experiencein a supervisory or management role in a 4-star hotel or similar property. Strong experience in food & beverage, events, and accommodation operations. Demonstrable leadership qualities: ability to motivate, manage, delegate. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written). Capacity to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, public holidays. Good numeracy skills: budgeting, forecasting, inventory control. IT literacy: hotel management systems, MS Ofice (especially Excel). Desirable Formal qualification in hospitality or hotel management. Experience with local/regional marketing, social media, and event promotion. Experience in luxury or boutique hotel settings.
