Team Leader (Full-Time) MooreHaven Respite Service Location: Tipperary Town Pay: €18.60 €26.00 per hour Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Service Opening: May 2026 Job Description MooreHaven is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our brand-new Respite Service opening in May 2026 in Tipperary Town. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service from the beginning, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, home-like respite environment where dignity, respect, choice, and independence are at the heart of everything we do. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the service and will work closely with the Person in Charge to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and individualised supports. Service Details Opening May 2026 Operating Tuesday to Saturday Closed Sundays and Mondays 12-hour and 24-hour shifts, including sleepovers (as required) Sleepover allowance provided Full-Time Permanent Contract Flexible schedule; must be available for evenings, nights, and flexible shifts Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and day-to-day operational support within the service Support the Person in Charge in ensuring compliance with HIQA standards Promote a culture of person-centred practice Supervise, mentor, and support staff members Support residents with daily living and personal care where required Ensure accurate documentation and reporting Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and the multidisciplinary team Drive residents safely in MooreHaven transport as needed Requirements A relevant Honours Degree in Social Care / Social Care Work at QQI Level 7 A relevant People Management Qualification at QQI Level 6 (or willingness to undertake same) Minimum 3 years experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability in a residential or respite setting Experience working with persons with behaviours that challenge Full clean Irish/EU driving licence Excellent report writing and IT skills Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Commitment to person-centred, high-quality care Available for evenings, nights, 24-hour shifts, and sleepovers Benefits HSE-linked salary with fortnightly pay Pay range €18.60 €26.00 per hour 7% employer pension contribution Online GP access, family care and wellbeing support Employee Assistance Programme (for staff and families) Protected administrative time Additional leave Bike to Work Scheme Sick pay Free on-site parking Ongoing training and professional development Interviews will take place in March/April 2026.
