Millicent Golf Club is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Administrator with financial acumen to support the Honorary Treasurer and General Manager and play a key role in the club’s financial management and administration.
Role Overview
Responsible for all aspects of general administration, reporting, and control within the club’s business plan and policies along with daily administration duties.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily financial operations, ledger postings, and cash handling.
Prepare monthly financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow up to Trial Balance level.
Maintain accurate member subscriptions and invoicing records.
Reconcile bank accounts, payroll, and supplier statements monthly.
Process payroll, PAYE/PRSI submissions, and VAT returns.
Manage supplier payments, quotations, and cost control.
Ensure green fees and ProShop revenues are reconciled daily via BRS and Clover systems.
Support Honorary Treasurer and General Manager with forecasting, budgeting, and 3‑year business plan.
liaise with committees, staff, and external accountants to ensure efficient reporting.
Answer phone calls and e‑mails in a timely manner.
Collect & file relevant documents in a structured and professional manner.
Provide general financial support to ensure smooth operation of the office.
Ideal Candidate
Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting experience (BrightPay & QuickBooks knowledge desirable but not essential).
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Experience within a golf club or sports environment is an advantage.
Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Proficient with Excel, Word, and other platforms.
