Applications are now invited from experienced highly motivated professionals, with relevant background and qualifications for the following position: PCOCI (Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration in Ireland) Programme Manager - Grade VIII 0.5 WTE - Permanent Post Reporting to: Head of Audit Management, National Office of Clinical Audit. Clinical Lead for PCOCI. Accountable to: Clinical Lead for PCOCI, Milford Care Centre. HSE Clinical Lead, National Clinical Programme for Palliative Care. This position has a national remit and is a secondment arrangement from Milford Care Centre to the National Office of Clinical Audit. Qualifications Essential: Healthcare qualification to relevant degree level. Desirable: Post graduate academic qualification to master's or PhD level. Experience Essential: Previous experience of Education, Research and Clinical Audit. Clinical experience or knowledge of Palliative Care. A strong record of achievement and expertise in Clinical Practice. Previous relevant management experience. Desirable: Experience or an in-depth understanding of education, research and clinical audit in a healthcare context is highly desirable. Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams in a Healthcare Setting. Previous experience of leadership and quality improvement in a Healthcare Setting.
